2024 'Brothers' Light Red

2014 to 2024 Jono and Damon Koerner were in partnership together with Koerner Wine. During this time they created a wine range called ‘Brothers’ and this Light Red was one of the main wines within that range. We want to continue the legacy of that through this wine.

Light, fresh, juicy, crisp and very easy drinking! Fragrant red berries on the nose and a palate full of strawberries and raspberries, which makes for a very fun and refreshing drop.

Soil type: Terra Rossa, Red clay on limestone
Picking date: 22nd February and 23rd February 2024
Picking method: Machine and hand harvested 
Time on skins: Vermentino 2 weeks, Grenache 2 days
Processing: Crush and destemmed
Pressing: Only take free run juice
Cooling / settling: Cold settled off dirt and heavy solids for 3 days
Fermentation: Stainless steel
Aging vessel: A mix of stainless steel and slavonian oak on fine lees for 5 months
Filtration: Cross Flow
Fining: No
Alc: 12.5% alc (7.4 Standard Drinks)
